About Us

Thérèse Légère is inspired by the enchanting Napa Valley of California. Seeing through the artist’s eye; she is documenting the colors, textures and light of the vineyards and mountains in her oil paintings. Her painting technique is called ''Defined Impressionism''. She creates an Impressionistic painting and follows it by drawing out certain contours. This process creates a stained glass effect that enhances the colors and light.

Thérèse Légère’s personal journey as an artist began in her childhood. Born in Montréal, Québec; she grew up in the Richelieu Valley, fertile with famous Québecois artists. Légère went on to study Fine Arts at the Collège St-Laurent in Montréal.

She has exhibited in many solo and group exhibitions in the Pioneer Valley of Massachusetts, and Napa/Sonoma Valley in California.
